We have worked weddings with Kaitlyn. Everyone on our vendor list is someone our DJs have actually stood beside on a Saturday, which is a slower way to build a list and the only one worth anything.
If you are booking an affordable wedding, you have almost certainly planned it yourself. Spreadsheet, group chat, twelve browser tabs. That part is genuinely doable and plenty of couples pull it off.
The part that catches people is the day itself. You cannot run your own wedding while you are in it. You will be in a room getting your hair done when the florist arrives at the wrong door. You will be mid-photos when the caterer needs to know where the cake goes. Whoever answers those questions is not going to be you, and if nobody is assigned, it defaults to your mother, your maid of honour, or us.
We can absorb some of it. We do, constantly - a DJ ends up quarterbacking more of a wedding than most couples realise. But we are running sound from one spot in the room, and there is a limit to how much of your day we can chase down from behind a booth.
The affordable way in is day-of coordination. Not full planning. You keep doing all the research and booking yourself, and Kaitlyn takes over a few weeks out - confirms your vendors, builds the timeline, and runs the actual day. It is the cheapest tier she offers and it is the one most AE couples should be looking at.

When you genuinely do not need one
We are not going to tell you every wedding needs a coordinator, because it is not true. Under about sixty guests, in one room, with a venue that includes a day-of contact of its own, you can usually get away without. Lots of our couples do.
It is the multi-vendor, multi-space, hundred-plus-guest weddings where going without stops being thrifty and starts being the reason the night runs forty minutes late.
If you are not sure which one you are, ask us. We will tell you honestly, including when the answer is "save your money."
